DC CROSSING : Penthouse

Leading to a rooftop pool, this winding stairwell design is a stylized version of water reflections. Transparencies and textures were overlaid on a background of solid shapes. The palette complemented the more neutral tones of the Penthouse Bar, while the shapes drew the  eye up and around the stairs, inviting the curious to see what is around the corner.
